ASIX Announces Successful Effective Facilitation Seminar
Bellevue, WA – ASIX, Inc., a Pacific Northwest-based software vendor
and information technology consulting firm, is pleased to report that our “Effective
Facilitation Seminar” taught by Linda Levine on February 13th, 2002,
was a resounding success. This sold-out seminar was based on Ms. Levine’s
experience facilitating hundreds of sessions where she developed numerous
techniques for effective facilitation. This one-day class presents fundamental
skills in an interactive and enjoyable environment.
“We discussed problems that frequently occur in small groups and developed
solutions to these issues,” explained Linda Levine. “We also discussed
developing models in facilitated sessions (data models, process flow diagrams,
etc). The examples and "role plays" used in class are all based on
real-world experiences from a variety of settings.” As principle of Levine
Consulting, Ms. Levine provides data analysis, process analysis, architecture
development, and facilitation services to her clients.
The objectives of this seminar are as follows: to provide students with a fundamental
set of techniques to use when facilitating sessions, to describe and demonstrate
specific processes to utilize in business and technical meetings, and enhance
communication skills.
“Linda was very good. She covered a lot of material at a good pace. It
is clear that Linda has expertise in this area and the presentation was well
thought out and effective. The examples helped to clarify the subject,” stated
Frances Ramirez, Customer Systems Knowledge Management Team at AT&T Wireless.
