California Property Tax

ASIX, Inc. is pleased to announce the award of a key role in a contract with San Diego County to develop and implement an integrated property tax system, the first such contract award in over a decade. The contract, valued at over 30M, will require over 3 years of effort to complete.

ASIX has successfully configured its existing property tax solution, Ascend™, across 7 states with a perfect implementation record. Recognizing the complexities of California property tax, ASIX has invested over 6 years of effort to gain an in-depth understanding of what many consider the most challenging tax revenue code in the nation. “We have worked for many years to get to this point,” stated John Walters, ASIX Vice President of Sales & Marketing, “we will do everything possible to help make this project a resounding success.”

In addition to subject-matter expertise, ASIX will contribute extensive technology-related assistance and intellectual property to the Systems Integrator to whom the contract was awarded. ASIX’ ultimate reward for this ground-breaking project will be the IP resulting from this important engagement. “We expect to have the underpinnings for the next generation property tax product targeted at medium to large counties in the State of California,” added Mr. Walters.
